Lately, I haven’t had much time for anything, and life feels like it’s moving extra fast. But typically, when summer arrives, I find that I tend to slow down a little, so hopefully that’ll be the case this year.

I know people say that life will only move faster and faster as you get older, but I’m not even 30 yet, so why does it feel like it’s flying by? Is anyone else freaked out by how quickly things are happening?

  1. A book I loved. I read Hail Mary on my vacation in May and it was spectacular. If you liked the movies Interstellar and The Martian, this book is in a similar genre, and talks on the themes of space travel, sacrifice, and friendship.
  2. A cool journaling app. I recently discovered the app, Haptic Journal. The tagline for this app definitely sounds a little Black Mirror-esque (“The Entire History of You”), but the concept is quite interesting. The idea is that your life is defined by your actions so that’s what it’ll help you track. From dates to workouts to vacations. You can track different habits and actions daily as a way to journal and remember how your days went.
  3. Something I’ve been wearing nonstop. I have not used another purse since I got the Polene Cyme bag in Cognac. It’s the perfect size and colour for pretty much every outfit lately.
  4. A snack I’m addicted to. No, but seriously, I inhaled two whole cans in 4 days. It’s actually starting to become a problem. These are some of the most addicting snacks I’ve had in a long time.
  5. A Tool I ove for email management. I’ve been looking forever for an email client that can help me keep track of multiple accounts while also having tons of features for organization. I’ve actually been using Spark for about a year now, and I can now confidently recommend it. It has made managing my email accounts SO much easier and I love the “inbox-zero” concept of sorting through all of your emails. Definitely worth the subscription for me.

Aiming to do these 5 things emails at least once a month moving forward. When I get busy, certain tasks start falling off my priority list but I want to give you more of my time. Thanks for being here and supporting as always. 🫶🏼
